Starr Street Media is a multi-disciplinary (Live Performance, Film, Music) Production Company that works with new and upcoming writers, musicians, and film makers to create fresh, progressive works of art.
Founded by Derrick Gallegos and Jean Franco, Starr Street Media started out as an outlet for them to experiment with their art. Having both come from the Atlantic Acting School in New York City, they were encouraged to make their own work, which led them to work toward creating their first web-series, Boroughs. While, due to lack of experience, Boroughs was never completed, it was an excellent learning experience for the duo. They decided to scrap the series and work on smaller projects.
After making their first comedy sketch, Rap Game, Starr Street Media was contacted by electro-pop duo, Ilandria, to produce a music video for their song: I Don't Belong Here. Since then, Starr Street Media has worked with an array of artists and businesses to produce a variety of works from feature length films to television series.
